Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February 1983. She is an American actress and comedian. She was the winner of 2008's Last Comic Standing and went on to host the syndicated dating show Excused and the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.
In 2017, Shlesinger was the host of her own talk show at night called Truth and Iliza on Freeform. There are six Netflix comedy specials. In April 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch show.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to an Jewish family in New York City. She was brought to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who moved to the city as a young newborn. She went to Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. There she studied Spanish and was also a part of the school's improv group.
Shlesinger performed with ComedySportz Dallas. She also studied at the University of Kansas her freshman year. She also took part in Semester at Sea. After that, she was accepted to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. There, she studied film. While at Emerson College she honed her editing and writing skills as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a campus comedy sketch group.

Shlesinger completed her college degree and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was among the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her on stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
